The Most Expensive Word in healthcare Isn't "Pain” It's "Later"
I hear one word all the time.
"Later."
"I'll deal with it later."
"I'll get it checked out later."
"I'll make time later."
The problem is... "later" has a funny way of turning into months.
Then months turn into years.
Before you know it, you've stopped throwing a football with your kids.
You've stopped playing a second round of golf.
You don't reach overhead without thinking about it.
And somewhere along the way, you've accepted that this is just how your body works now.
Here's what I've learned after treating hundreds of people.
Very few wake up one day with a major problem.
Most have been getting little warning signs for months. Sometimes years.
The body whispers long before it screams.
The good news?
You don't have to wait until something becomes unbearable before getting answers.
Sometimes a simple conversation is all it takes to figure out whether it's something you should address now or if it's okay to keep an eye on.
If you're wondering whether it's time to do something about your shoulder, back, knee, or any other nagging issue, I'd love to help.
To better movement,
Dr. Jacob
