Your Body Has a Starting Lineup ⚽️
With the World Cup in full swing, it's easy to appreciate what makes a great team.
It's not just one superstar.
It's eleven players, all doing their job.
If one player is out of position, everyone else has to work a little harder to make up for it.
Funny enough...your body works the exact same way.
Your shoulders have a job.
Your hips have a job.
Your core has a job.
Your knees and ankles have jobs.
When each part is doing what it's supposed to do, movement feels effortless.
But when one area stops pulling its weight, the rest of the body steps in.
Maybe your shoulder doesn't move well anymore, so your neck starts working overtime.
Maybe your hips have become stiff, so your low back picks up the slack.
Maybe your ankle doesn't move the way it should, so your knee takes on more stress.
Your body is an incredible teammate.
It will do whatever it can to keep you moving.
The problem?
Those compensations aren't meant to last forever.
Just like a soccer team can't expect one player to carry the entire match, your body wasn't designed for one joint or one muscle to do everyone else's job.
That's why we don't just chase where it hurts.
We ask a different question:
Who's not doing their job?
Because when you help the whole team work together again, amazing things start to happen.
Movement feels easier.
Confidence comes back.
And your body stops working so hard just to get through the day.
So here's something to think about...
If your body was a World Cup team, which player has been carrying too much of the load?
Sometimes the problem isn't the teammate who's exhausted.
It's the one who quietly stopped showing up.
To better movement,
